As a collective we have over a decade of combined experience creating public art and working within the community in Los Angeles and Southern California. As artists we are interested in preserving cultural heritage and creating meaningful site specific work that can positively impact and uplift communities for generations to come.

Melissa Govea is a visual artist and arts educator. Her work embodies the contemporary Native diaspora, delving into the interplay between tradition and current storytelling. Visually playing with mythological and cultural iconographic themes. Highlighting socio-economic narratives through a native feminist perspective. She studied Political Science and received her Sign Painting certification from Los Angeles Trade Tech.




River T. Garza (b.1994) is an Indigenous interdisciplinary visual Artist based out of Los Angeles. Garza’s work draws on traditional Indigenous aesthetics, Southern California Indigenous maritime culture, Chicano culture, Graffiti,skateboarding and low rider art.
